Jayden Rylee started preschool!

The most shocking growth for us has to be Jayden. She is such a character, is so funny, and enjoys all things fun in life. She officially started preschool today and it's very weird to not have her home. She is so excited to be at school and enjoys every minute of it. Slow down Jayden! We aren't ready for you to be so big yet!

Granite remodel

We've been busy working on getting our house the way we want it. One of the biggest upgrades we did this summer was installing the granite in the kitchen, on the fireplace, and the downstairs bathroom. Here are the before and afters. Couldn't be happier with the end result!

Santa Barbara- 4th of July 2013

Santa Barbara for 4th of July was great as always. We managed to get a lot done during our long weekend. The kids had a great time at the Natural History Museum and our favorite, PICKING BERRIES at the best organic farm ever! We can't wait to go back in winter, too bad we don't get the berries though!

Jaycee's PreK Graduation!

Jaycee finished her Pre-K class in June. She is now officially a KINDER KID! We don't know where the time has gone, but we do know she's as bright as ever and SO excited for Kinder to start next week!

It's been quite awhile since Blogging has occurred in this family! Here are a few of the things we've been up to:

It's been hard to take pictures lately, let along blog about them. Hopefully that will all change this summer when school is out and kiddos are home full time. Here are some great pics form Jaycee's Preschool Hoe Down. Everyone had a blast and we even got some happy faced pics from the event!

I know this pic isn't much, but it does show off the color and wainscoting of Jayden's new bedroom. The major thing she was insist on was BLUE paint!

Gunnar had a bit of a fall on the tile floor, but he still had energy to play inside their playhouse.

Spring Break/Easter in Santa Barbara

Things have been SO busy around here! Between Daddy getting his new job at the Sheriff, Mommy working on her Master's degree, and trying to buy another house. . . time is super limited. We were fortunate enough to go for a mini trip up to Santa Barbara last weekend. The kiddos LOVE going up there. So many people ask what we do when we go: visit the beach, go to park on the beach, visit the SB zoo, pick fruits/veggies from local farms, visit the local farmer's markets, eat, play, enjoy the weather outside. There are lots of fun things for the kiddos to do and they really do enjoy themselves. Here are some of my favorite pics from our visit to Arroyo Burro Beach, the "Castle" park in Solvang, and Easter bunny goodies that were left on Sunday morning. As always, we can't wait to go back again!
