Jaycee's 2nd Birthday Party

Jaycee had a wonderful Sponge Bob-filled 2nd birthday party this weekend. She ate lots of blue frosted cake (a little too much), she got lots and lots of presents (thank you everyone), and she was an excellent hostess. Jaycee loved her balloons, her new toys, and showing off like a big ham for everyone that was there. It's a good thing the party was Saturday because we definitely needed the following day to catch up on some much needed sleep after all the festivities!

2 month and 2 year doc appointment

Jayden Stats:

24 inches long (Holy cow!)

11.15 pounds (Holy cow!)

Head circumference: 15.25 inches

Poor Jayden had to get her first round of shots yesterday. She took them like a trooper and was only sad for a short bit. She was so kind to everyone and she even smiled at the doctor (before her shots of course).

Jaycee Stats:

24.8 pounds

32.75 inches tall

Jaycee also got two shots yesterday; one in each arm. She must have a very high pain tolerance because she didn't cry at all. She did an excellent job and even got a couple of cool band-aids.

We took Jaycee to the park today for her birthday. She had a wonderful time swinging on the swing. And, because she turned 2 today, she went up and down big slide all on her own. She even said "Whhee" as she went down.
