Joshua Gunnar: 9 months

A little late on the 9 month posting, but better late than never! Josh is 9 months now (more like 9.5 really) and he is still a bundle of happiness. He loves to play with his sisters and the animals. He thinks being rough and tough is fun and has even started to throw his weight around a little. He still does not have a single tooth in that big grin of his, although there are two on the bottom threatening to pop out any day now. He still does not sleep during the night and is the crankiest, loudest screamer ever when he awakens. I am so grateful he doesn't act that way during the day! He is soldier crawling all of the place and likes to try standing and gliding around the edge of furniture. I don't think he'll be a crawler for long because he has too many girls to chase and he'll need feet for those adventures. His eyes are bluer than ever and his dimples are deeper than ever. He is quite the ladies man and a major flirt. He loves the ladies!

More Solvang Pictures!

Here is the family berry picking for raspberries and blackberries. I love that Jayden's face is stuffed full of raspberries, while her basket is completely empty.

We went to the Little Red School house for an afternoon of playground fun. The weather was perfect and Jaycee did an awesome job on the rope swing. She is such a big girl now!

We were busy on the 4th of July with the Solvang parade and the fireworks/BBQs, but there were a few good pics from the day's fun.

And some photos from La Purisima Mission in Lompoc and the Nature Center at Cachuma Lake. The girls really enjoyed the Nature Center with all the hands on activities. They were really interested in the poop boxes (they showed the scat of the animal with the picture of the animal on the back) and Jaycee did really well grinding the acorns with the Indian stones.

Summer Vacation 2012: SOLVANG!

We are on our favorite summer vacation this week in sunny, perfect Solvang! We headed out to the Nojoqui Falls this afternoon, followed by a fun afternoon shopping and driving along the coast. Here are a few pictures from today's adventure.
